FIND ANOTHER DERMATOLOGIST!! READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS!!! Firstly, Dr. Karavan will only ever see you for 1 issue at a time. So you have to make separate appts for Every. Single. Issue... If you are fine with paying cash for procedures (and paying considerably more than other derm offices charge), then I'm sure you will think they are a fine doc office. But if you need insurance to cover the cost for anything, GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!! Never in my life have I had a doc office be SO INEPT at filing even BASIC paperwork to get something covered by insurance. They had over 2 MONTHS to file 1 single form (pre-authorization), and they just couldn't be bothered!! Kept getting told it was being taken care of, and because I trusted them to do what they say for too long, I was eventually left with no time to try and have another derm office do the procedure before my insurance reset in Jan... Their PA Jonathan G. was constantly out of the office, so was his medical assistant Masha (both of… which quit in the same 2 months! Ask yourselves why...) And it seemed that NONE of the other medical staff were capable of doing anything because it "wasn't assigned to them." They would NEVER return calls, even when BCBS called them directly, not once did ANYONE speak to them or return their calls. Most unprofessional staff I've ever dealt with at a medical office! Dr. Karavan outright said during a later visit "if you want to pay cash, I can do the procedure, but if you want to have insurance pay for it, only Jonathan can do it. Noone else in the office will do it. I normally don't accept insurance for this procedure." So no problem doing the procedure, but only if you aren't "poor" I suppose...

Doctor Karavan diagnosed my disease on time and saved my life. I am always grateful of her, she is very well knowledgeable and well mannered and respectfull.
