Dr. Mahshid Melody Mosallaei-Benjamin, MD

I would give zero stars if I could. She is very snippy and bad manners. She has no concern for her patients. She made my stage 2 cancer go to stage 4 during treatment because she did not monitor me during chemo for five months and the chemo was not even working, then she started immunotherapy and that was not working I got the pet scan 6 months later when the scan should have been 2 weeks later during Chemo. She made my quality of life miserable. Dash her and don't let your family member go to that doctor at UCLA Ventura Ca.

Dr. Benjamin is a very kind and knowledgeable physician. She helped me to make informed decisions as to how to proceed with my care. I am so very happy with her care and my outcome. I come from many years of having worked in the medical field and am thankful that I found this caring and professional provider.

Negligent and arrogant care… Dr. Benjamin should not be treating patients of any kind, especially cancer patients. While treating my Mom she made irresponsible decisions, arrogantly disregarded doctor peer recommendations and treatment guidelines that cost my Mom her life. We lost my Mom due to totally avoidable side effects that her peers had warned her to monitor - but she blatantly refused to do. She actually stated that she would not answer our questions, to protect herself from recourse! She has no empathy or compassion for her patients or family members. I cringe at the thought of anyone being under her care.

I had a negative experience with her

Having found a doctor as caring and informed as Doctor Benjamin has been a blessing. I am an athletic 59 yr old male diagnosed with CLL. Dr Benjamin has continued to monitor any advances in my conditon and proven her knowledge by answering all of my questions (and there are many) with clarity and accuracy. She is one in a million and I am very fortunate to have found her..

I have been seeing Dr. Benjamin for over a year, first for cancer treatment and then for an ongoing clinical trial. She is very knowledgeable; she thought ahead and researched for me so I was in a position to go right into a good clinical trial as early as possible. She is also very kind and encouraging, and easy to talk to about all concerns.

Dr. Benjamin is a wonderful doctor who really takes her time with her patients, sits down and explains everything to you and anyone you bring with you. LOVE HER!

She may be knowledgable in her field, but she is beyond rude. Gave me a big attitude when I asked for help understanding the 10+ medications. I wonder if she realizes how hard dealing with cancer is, let alone dreading the visit with this mean doctor.
