Excellent surgeon. Abominable and incompetent staff. TRUST NOTHING that goes through his administrative staff. Insist on copies, then double check any scheduling or appointments by phone before showing up. That includes any pre-op appts, and any scheduled procedures at the hospital. Truly the most incompetent staff I've ever experienced. Not good when you are Ill. He needs to clean house. BIG TIME

I couldn't give a better recommendation. He is a brilliant surgeon, oncologist and anyone who gets him is lucky. i think his staff is wonderful-Cheryl, Gail, the office people are courteous and efficient. I think the other people who wrote these bad reviews are either difficult unhappy people, or on serious drugs. Dr. Leuhcter saved my life and I am eternally grateful to him, the great staff and if someone wants to read reviews, check his credits and accomplishments! He's brilliant!

I would recommend this Dr to anyone in need of the service he provides. You can ask him anything and he will take the time with you. if you are in need of his service, you are lucky if you end up here. It's worth the wait. He does take emergencies. So if it's an emergency say so! He knows his field. Thank you Dr Leuchter Your the Best!!!

His secretary is the worst ever, not prosfessional, never returns calls. Leaves people waiting for hours. I wiated for her on day at the SO Cancer center for hours while reception staff paged her and tried to contact her. There was a very old gentlemam waiting also.. it was horrendous and disgusting that an elderly person would be ignored like that. She should be fired. His billing staff are even worse. I cannot understand why this doctor keeps the staff he has. Anyone could do a better job than they do.

This doctor consistently overbooks and 2-3 hour waits are the norm. When you are finally seen he is always in a hurry, rude and not very thorough. Does not inspire confidence in his diagnoses and does not seem to care about the patient at all. Will pay out of pocket to go elsewhere.

Leuchter is the sweetest man and is an excellent skilled surgeon. However, his staff is a disaster, poor communication, it is very difficult to schedule, they drop the ball constantly and they do not relay messages. Great as long as you don't have post-op complications.
