Dr. Mahtab Melissa Parham

Dr. Parham was very caring, knowledgeable, and thorough during our ER visit when my poor husband had a stroke. She introduced her self to both of us with a handshake and took time to sit down next to my husband and explain what was going on and answered our questions. We did not feel rushed. Her bedside manner went above and beyond!!! Would highly recommend her to any patient. Thankful for our care at Cape Cod Hospital.

This provider comes off as brand new (just to say, if it is 2035 and you're reading this, maybe give her another shot). My experience with her was very poor. She was working in the ER at Cape Cod Hospital at this time. She was real dismissive of the symptoms my husband was telling her he had, even going to the point where she walked out of the room while he was actively answering one of her questions. She was all over the board with her possible diagnoses, one minute telling us that she was going to remove one of his organs and the next telling us we could go home with no explanation. She had one of those 'too good for us' type of attitudes some physicians carry. Bed side manner was poor, didn't explain anything and again kind of an alarmist, hot/cold, all over the place. I don't think you can necessarily pick your provider when you are in the ER... but if you are reading this you are likely skeptical of her and you should be! Good luck!
