Dr. Maimoona Matin Shah, MD

I have taken my son's to see Dr. Maimoona Shah, since they were young boys, about eight and six. Now my son's are young men, eighteen and sixteen, so hard to believe, but true. One thing I have loved since I moved here and had started taking my son's to be under the care of Dr. Shah is her tender care and concern for both of my son's. She takes her time and doesn't rush us. She has a patient and soft calming presence about her. She always made us feel cared about and respected. This is especially important to my son's, because sometimes teens are overlooked and their thoughts and opinions not validated. Not so with Dr. Shah, she always took the time and made sure that she listened intently to my son's thoughts and concerns as well as mine. When my son's became teens and they were dealing with certain issues, she always made sure that their privacy was addressed with the utmost care. I'm indebted to Dr. Shah, because as a single mother I sometimes felt alone when it came to dealing with… certain health issues, and she always made me feel comfortable enough, as well as the boys, to come to her and ask about anything that concerned us. Thank you Dr. Shah for your heart to care and serve the children and youth in the Oak Park, Forest Park and surrounding communities. My son's and I, will forever be positively impacted by the love, concern and care that you have consistently shown us. May God continue to bless you, your family and your practice.

dr shah was my doctor when i was a child, she is amazing. one of the few doctors left that truely cares about the patients and not the money. she takes her time with patients and she loves what she does, this was my dr's first pediatrician as well. i no longer use her due to insurances however i wish she could have remained my daughters peditrician so my daughter can experience all the wonderful appointments that i did.
