Maki Matsumura, NP

Stay away from this provider. She hates her job and is only there for a paycheck. She does not care about her patients. I am going on over 3 years of bad experiences with her. I kept sweeping it under the rug because I don’t have the time to switch providers are the money. So recently I started experiencing major issues that required immediate support from my provider and just like the other times she failed me and has made my experience worse. She does not listen, she does not ask questions, she does not follow up. This is a nightmare. I will be switching soon but unfortunately due to my current circumstances I stuck with having to deal with her for the time being. I dread having to checking with her knowing she does not care about my wellbeing, but I have no choice. Stay away!

She never followed up about anything. She was concerned about some blood work values, I made diet changes and assumed she’d do follow up blood work to check in. Never did. I asked for it myself 6 months later and was told I’d need an appointment before she could order it. For follow up bloodwork

My daughter and I had a horrible experience with Maki. She was rude, aggressive and hostile. She kept changing what she said about treatments, referrals and lab results. Everything about our experience with her was just nerve-wrecking. I don’t suggest her to anyone!

Worst experience ever! I had the worst time working with this person at John Muir health. I felt as though she didn’t care for my concerns and just kept talking about money and other topics unrelated to my medical concerns. Don’t recommend her! She lies about test results, referrals, and refuses to “help” patients.
