Dr. Malinda Joan Bender, MD

We saw Dr. Bender 2 times each with my preteen/teen daughters. We gave her a second chance because everyone has an off day. My daughters left her office feeling lower in their self esteem. This was extremely frustrating. One child is 5'5 and a size 6, the other 5'8 and a size 12....she implied that both girls were overweight. She was very condescending talking to them and to me. When I had questions about vaccinations and procedures, she was abrupt and made me feel that my questions were absurd. My daughters did not feel listened to and did not feel at ease with Dr. Bender. We left her practice and found a more competent doctor for my children's age.

We love visiting Dr. Bender. Our child is 2 and she has been caring her since she was 5 days old. She is caring and engaged each time we see her for a well visit. We typically are her last spot of the day, and she never seems rushed or in a hurry. She actively listens, and provides advice in a manner that anyone can understand. We can trust her to provide excellent medical care for our child.
