Wonderful doctor; my son has seen her since his first day of birth 12 years ago, I relocated to CT and I still drive into NY as she is just that good I couldn't bare to change doctors.

Shes very professional and sweet. She takes the time to know my kids personally and she also does the shots herself! No nurse, I like that. Shes fast and explains everything clearly and thorough and was the only one who was ever able to help my son with his asthma problems. Love her and would recommend her to anyone I know with kids.

Worst doctor ever. Easy to make appointment because not too many patients. She doesn't know what she is doing! She doesn't know how to treat kids and parents, but just like chatting. No professional skill at all. horrible!

I've come to this doctor for many years. The receptionists are professional but personable. The waiting area has toys available and a selection of Disney / Pixar movies available for the children. That said, you will most likely have to wait a bit, the amount of time varying on the day of week and time. Doctor Tong is frank, kind and easy to talk to. She works efficiently and demonstrates clear experience. She also has lollipops available for the younger children. Tip for those driving: parking is available for five dollars after talking to the receptionists!

I loved going to her. She's a very nice woman who has a lot of experience, care, and patience for her patients. She is a well rounded medical doctor and did is amazing!!

Dr. Tong is definitely knowlegable and friendly with kids. My daughter likes her. Me personally I have mixed feeling about her. In general I don't like antibiotics myself, so I do everything to avoid it. In that sense Dr. Tong and I are in the same wave lenght. However, this is also the source of my mixed feeling. Last week I took my daughter in as she had high fever, no antibiotics. I was fine as I just wanted to make sure she did not have anything complicated. The fever subsided after two days. However, she started coughing more with mucus this week (the 3rd week of coughing) and had high fever again last night (104 +). Today my husband took a day off to take her to Dr. Tong. This time she still gave no antibiotics. I know I am not doctor, but if someone is fighing a cold for three weeks seeing the symptom getting worse, wouldn't it be time to start taking actions? My old doctor, who retired last year, did not like to give out antibiotics either. But if he already saw my… daughter, and she was not getting better, he would talk to me on the phone to decide if I needed to bring her in or not. If he decided that the situation was similiar but she needed treatment , he would call the pharmancy to prescribe the medicine for me. Sometimes it was at the boarder line of using antibiotics, and he would gave me the prescription to hold onto, and told me to fill it up only if she conditions were getting worse. I love my daughter and want the best for her, but the increasing medical cost does bear it's weight on us. Each dr. office visit, we have to pay $120 to $200 out of pocket. So the two office visits in less than 8 days cost us $240 or more already. There will be another $120 if we have to take our daughter back to Dr. Tong again next week. Does it make sense seriously? I like Dr. Tong but I am not sure about her handling of situation like this... I am still thinking if I should switch doctor for my daughter. It will be sad to leave a good doctor though...

I earlier made an appt. 2pm for my 2yr old check up but she had a high fever same day. We went there in the late morning and waited almost three hours, we already told reception she had a high fever, but still she did not let her go, since she waited three hours untreated, a seizure was resulted right in her office, we quickly brought our daughter to dr, and said sorry for the patient she was treating, the dr. Just took a quick look and said that's normal, at that time my daughter was motionless, face turn dark and mouth turned purple. She just ignored us, but treating the existing patient. later Found the reception gave four Walk ins without appt. to go before us. the reception came to us and said that's only the dr's idea to see patient at their appt. time. Dr blamed reception four walk ins and reception blamed dr's idea! we went home with dr subscribed med but fever never dropped, later we found that dr gave us wrong measure of the med, she should take 5ml, not 2.5ml as she said.

I had an appointment with this doctor. When I arrived, only to find that she was not here. The staff took my child's weight reading but did not measure his body temperature. My child has URI problem and I think measuring body temperature is a must-do-procedure. One of the staff was quite talkative and I heard she comment about other patient's children which I think it's not appropriate and rude. 35 mins later, the doctor came back. Before my child, there were two patients. After 25 more mins of waiting, my child got a chance to see her. She examined my child and send him to another room to do some treatment. She said she went to see another patient first and return to my son later. The treatment took 3 or 4 mins and then I needed to wait her for about 30 mins. I saw the patient was gone and I thought it was my turn. But she went to the reception to talk to two unknown persons. My son and I have already missed the lunch because of long waiting. Seeing her talked with 2 unknown persons… made me feel upset. The total time of waiting and seeing this doctor is about 2 hours. That is unacceptable to me who had an appointment and only 2 patients before us.

there is no point of making appointments because they do not care about appointments. it is first come, first served.
