Amazing Surgeon with a very rude nurse

Dr. Chen, his nurse Ursula, and his staff are exceptional. I have never felt so cared for. Dr. Chen answered all my questions with incredible detail and compassion before and after my procedure. He was realistic about potential outcomes and helped me feel informed every step of the way. To top it all off, Dr. Chen fixed my fistula and Ursula calmed my anxieties during recovery. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially other transmen. Far superior to any care I've ever received prior.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Chen. First of all, he is extremely skilled at his craft. His results are some of the best world-wide. Second, I have never been to a doctor who was so compassionate and showed so much care and concern for my well being. Dr. Chen goes above and beyond in every way. Awesome surgeon and amazing human being!

My first impression was that he is a nice guy, but kind of young and thus maybe inexperienced. That may be so, but in retrospect, I would not have suspected inexperience if not for his age. As far as I can tell, his knowledge level is very high. He explains things well, and he listens well. I did tell him that there could have been better preparation for some of the symptoms I experienced after my biopsy. As it turns out, I may have misplaced some materials he sent home with me, but he actually called me later to tell me he had taken my advise, reviewed and revised the materials. Knowledgeable but not arrogant, that is a good combination. Confident but open to constructive criticism.
