While moonlighting at a hospital during his fellowship, Dr. Singh recalls a patient who came in with his wife and two young children and was having an acute heart attack. The gravity of the situation and the impact he was able to make, in doing the diagnostics and tailoring treatment to save the patient’s life, stuck with him.
One of Dr. Singh’s clinical specialties is treating patients with adult congenital heart disease. He is skilled in performing minimally invasive interventions, such as TAVR, among other cardiovascular procedures.
Dr. Singh likes the fact that as an interventional …cardiologist, he can follow a patient from the office setting to the cardiac catheterization lab to identify the problem, and then perform the intervention in order to solve the problem, without having to send them out for treatment. He spends a lot of time with his patients, listening to them and thoroughly examining all aspects of their cardiovascular system in order to assess their condition. He provides compassionate care that involves patients in decision-making.
