Dr. Manju R Goyal, MD

I only put one star because none isn’t an option. My experience with Dr. Goyal didn’t last more than one meeting, as it was all I needed to see to not return. Throughout our first meeting, she stayed on her phone texting and giggling at whomever was messaging her, invalidated my experience with my own mental illness, proceeded to poke and prod at my ear when I mentioned not being able to hear out of it due to trauma, and pressed me on issues that I haven’t even gotten to with my current therapist. She interrupted me multiple times and at no point did I feel welcome in her office. I’m severely disappointed by this experience and felt the need to share.

You will be prescribed hard medication and will not make any progress or even be happier. I thought I was doomed until I switched doctors. She will sit there yawning, pretend to listen to you and not even provide any feedback. You could waste months in therapy here until you realize she isn't helping.

I have. We a patient of dr Goyal for the last 10 years and have nothing but praise for her. She is thorough and caring and does not over prescribe. Before I went to her a doctor had me taking several meds like if it was a guessing game, I was definitely misdiagnosed and there was a patient in and out every few minutes. I highly recommend her. She cates for your wellbeing.

My experience with this doctor was HORRIBLE. She continually misdiagnosed and prescribed the deadly drug Risperdal. I have suffered physically tremendously due to her incompetence. This doctor should be banned from her practice and placed in jail.

I have been seeing Dr.Goyal for more than a year now and I like her. Along with prescribing medication she does some counseling which helps a lot. She is a good listener and u can feel free to share anything with her. I have bipolar and she has helped me manage it well!

Dr. Goyal is an excellent psychiatrist that truly cares about her patients. She focuses on developing skills to improve conditions as opposed to just prescribing meds to "treat" the problem.

Dr. Goyal is great. I don't think there is a better psychiatrist out there. I've been see her for many years. She is very caring, and she has proved that over and over again.

Doctor requires you to sign contract saying you will respect her time and not keep her waiting, but then she keeps you waiting nearly an hour every visit. She is degrading when you disagree with her diagnosis and when you tell her you disagree she kicks you out of her practice. Horrible doctor.

Dr Goyal has been my doctor for more than 10 years and she has helped me manage my bi-polar and live a semi-normal life. She is easy to talk to and I always leave her office feeling better.
