Dr. Manu Bhakoo

My son had a severe infection. Dr. Bhakoo denied this and said it was nothing. I showed him the red welts on my son's arm. The doctor said to ignore it. I was very turned off when doctor Bhakoo was more concerned about how much money he could get from my insurance for the visit. It turns that when I went to a different doctor to get a second opinion the infection was very serious and needed to be treated right away.

We recently moved into town & my son loved Dr Bhakoo at the first visit! Dr Bhakoo explained the diagnosis & treatment plan in such details with drawings & flowsheets, we as parents were completly satified that we chose the right physician.

Visited the office after hours for my 5 month old daughter and was given a mis-diagnosis by Dr. Bhakoo. The assistant took her temperature before he came in and verified there was none. He looked in her ears and mouth filled with petechiae and said she had an ear and throat infection. Argued with me that she felt hot and must have a fever. Would not take her temp to confirm his assistants reading. Spent maybe 4 minutes with us in total including answering my questions. Her regular pediatrician confirmed he has done this before with others and that per CDC guidelines, a child needs a fever to diagnose as an infection.

Great doctor but terrible office staff. Nurse is also exceptional. If it wasn't hit the doctor or nurse I would go rise where.

Our 4 year old saw Dr.Bhakoo, just in our first vist, he diagnosed our 4 year old with asthma, he started her on medications, and since then she has not had any wheezing , she can actually play and have a normal life without any problems. She had been struggling with frequent rashes and Dr. Bhakoo did some tests, diagnosed her with dog allergy . Excellent bed side manners, same day appointments, and our 4 year old , who usually is scared of doctors, liked him instantly. Would highly recommend him!!!!!!!! Best doctor ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
