I've been on pain management for 8 years, no problems. I am 62years old. I end up with this Dr who won't listen and is basically the biggest JERK, I have ever seen in medical practice. Being a " psychiatrist " as well as a pain management Dr, you would expect him to listen, he does not, he does all the talking and could care less what you have to say. He has 1 procedure he tries for pain relief and If his procedure doesn't help you then you don't have pain. His thought process is everyone is the same and should benefit from it, if you don't then you don't have any pain. I didn't benefit from it, it actually caused more pain. I told him that really hurt, he said no it didn't and walked out. The nurse's weren't helpful either, it was like they enjoyed seeing people in pain. How can someone truly judge someone else's pain without asking or reviewing charts? This Dr is definitely a quack like reviews say he is. I have since moved on to a real pain management Dr that listened and read… my charts, he has helped me.
