Dr. Marc S Barasch, DO

Have always like Dr. Barasch but his front office managers have been unfriendly and at times unprofessional. Today was the last straw. It was an upsetting situation but she handle herself unprofessional.

The worst bedside manner. The most untrusting experience I've ever had with a medical person.

I have been a patient of Dr. Barasch since 2010. I have several chronic diseases that cause me to have many issues and even hospitalizations. Dr. B has always listened to me, what I actually like about him is that if I start rambling about various things he slows me down and we discuss each thing one by one. I don't understand why so many complain that he doesn't spend time with them because that's simply not true. Unless there is no issue we have to discuss, he's prompt in referrals (which I have NEVER had an issue getting) and refills and makes sure to ask you several times if there is anything else he can help with. The office is older, but that's not what I look for, I look for someone who will actually listen and help address my illnesses.

This doctor uses Fabuloso to clean his office. I am extremely allergic to lavender which is the scent of this product. I have gotten bronchitis and pneumonia many times from inhaling this scent. The girls in the office know I am allergic and in the past were good about not using the product the night before my visit. The day before Christmas I went to get a script renewed. I was in perfect health. While waiting for my exit paperwork one of the ladies laid a bottle of Fabuloso next to me on the counter. The head Admin Cheryl asked if she had sprayed any spray, I told her no. A minute later the other lady started spraying the product directly behind me to clean the bathroom. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. On Friday I was so sick, Temp of 102.7 and my lungs were a mess. I went to a walk in clinic to get medical attention. I called the office the following week to tell Cheryl how sick I was. She said did you go to the hospital. I said no as I had not met my… deductible for the year and was not going to meet it a week before the end of the year. I told her that I was never coming back there. She was fine with that. Most doctor offices have a "no scent" policy. This office is not for you if you have any lung issues.

VERY POOR BED SIDE MANNER, WONT LISTEN TO REASON.

I changed my primary care Dr to Marc Barasch , I feel like I have a DR that cares about me as a patient very happy with him.

Wonderful Dr been seeing him over a year now and the whole staff is equally wonderful!! Definitely recommend.

This dr need to be on someone s couch, theres a serious problem with him he should not be allowed to where a white jacket unless its confinement.

Dr. Barasch is a very cold doctor. Not for the faint of heart for sure. He was always extremely rude and very uncaring to any of my needs no matter how small or how big.. I went to him for 3 years then left because he always had me in tears. I left there questioning everything when he should have been professional enough to ease any questions I had. NEVER go to him. Do yourself a favor... He is just awful!!!

This is THE WORST DOCTOR!! I waited over 2 hours for an incompetent, arrogant, despicable Dr. The office is DISGUSTING, old, dirty, dingy, and has a terrible Oder!!
