Dr. Marc Howard Brickman, DO

I moved to Prescott and wanted an Internest, I found Dr Brickmans group and made an appt. He was nice enough, but his office charged me for a visit instead of a physical and I was charged a deductible. They didn’t send in new prescriptions, instead til me to call when I needed refills. I ran low on one of my meds and started calling, you have to leave a message and hope someone calls back. I called for three days before I finally got someone to call me back. The nurse promised she would call in the med, but didn’t. She was only concerned about me using the pt portal next time. I sent a message via the portal the next day with no respobse, I called the office and left a message, no response. I started having side effects from withdrawal of the medication. Still nothing! I ended up having to go to urgent care to get my prescriptions filled. I want a doctor who will take my calls and take care of my needs, this is not a good practice, go elsewhere!

They never answer their phone. Busy signals, or a long menu and then voice-mail. They may call back in 2 hours or 2-days or never. They did not send the lab request to the lab and the lab cannot get ahold of them either. I think he is probably a good doctor but not if I cannot get ahold of anyone. Just got busy signal ten times. No response to previous voice-mails. Not sure if he is still in business.

Found Dr to be compassionate and caring very happy to have found him

it is a little difficult getting in to see the good doctor or his NP. he has a busy practice and is not taking appointments on Fridays. Otherwise, he has a friendly courteous staff and is willing to spend time with you and he listens and asks pertinent questions. He or his office will follow up to ensure your condition is improved. I called after hours with a minor concern and received a phone call from Dr. Marc himself within 10 minutes from his personal cell phone. I was impressed.

Went to him for a primary doctor, Some help with my Thyroids . I was hospitalized a couple of years age and he wouldn't come to be my primary care doctor at the Aiken hospital. I had severe pain in my stomach area and he could not narrow the problem after several tests and his suggestions for certain specialist was basically an open book and throw a dart and wherever it landed he sent you there. I guess he finally gave up and said it was in my head. Changed Primary Doctors and found out I had Chronic Pancreatitis after the 2nd visit with my new Primary.
