Dr. Marc Laurence Campbell, MD

I’ve been prescribed certain medications for about 10 years now and within the first 20 minutes of ever speaking to him he tried changing all of the medications with alternatives that he thought were “safer”. He saw all my medical records and what medications I have been taking for the past 10 years yet he decided that he would use me as a guinea pig and concoct his own recipe of different horrible medications. He also would not let me speak without interrupting and was very stubborn. I recommend no one to see this doctor at all ever. He inconvenienced me tremendously and was very condescending. Horrible horrible doctor.

This doctor was new for me, and he is terrible, like he wants to degrade a person..he played mind games with me, he asked me how I was when I spoke he said ..why are you screaming and I was talking normal...I saw what he was right away..you can keep him there if you want to...the phyciatric clinics should not have doctors like this..but people with mental health always lose when they report a doctor like this..no one will listen because the superiors find that people with mental health are not right enough in their mind to report an abusive doctor..it’s like reporting a priest in the Catholic Church from a child ..who will believe him until thousands are abused..that’s the way it will be with this doctor...so we can write a review..but that’s all it will be ,a review..he will still dominate weak people...mental illness is not a weakness..we are very intelligent individual...SAD

So I just started to see him and off the bat he wouldn't let me talk without getting interrupted. But what he would say would be opposite of or more exaggerated of what I told him I feel and he wrote my prescription at high fricking dosage! When I told him I didn't want such a high dosage because of the side effects, he started playing mind games...he treats me as if I am not even a human. Speaks with arrogance and doesn't want to work with me. When I started asking questions he would make it seem like I am mentally ill. I know I am mentally ill that's why I show up to my appointments! He acts like these managers in retail stores...he should probably switch careers.

This doctor is a terrible abusive doctor..I have been going to this clinic for 20 years and this doctor is a new doctor and I never had a problem with any of the doctors ay this clinic except this doctor ..he is abusive controlling arrogant..he disrespects me and when I complained they would not change him ..his superior said I had to see only him when there were other doctors ..so now I will be looking to go somewhere else...

On my very first visit to this person, before I was asked, how are you doing, or what kind of help I was seeking. He's I intro, to me was, " I see you're taking, (name of the medicine), a woman of your age, should not be taking that, I will have to change that". I immediately mentioned to him, "don't you think, you should get to know me first, before you start changing meds?" He appeared to get flustered and defensive, at my remark. I felt like walking out, but, stayed to give him a chance. Second visit, he replies, "I have to find a "personality" for you." Is this person for real, Montefiore, can't you do better than this??? This person is a menus to society. He placed me on a med, that sent me into a nose - dive. I saw him a few times, while seeking, a reliable professional. The waiting list was very long, I stopped going. It's been close to a year, since I a had mental health care. I had to leave, before, anymore damage was done to me. He should not be allowed to treat anyone, … he's very defensive, and does not care to listen, or understand. I thought about reporting him to the Board of Medicine, for review.
