Dr. Marc Alan Goldman, MD

Good guy at heart and very good at what he does. Treats his nurses okay. Could be better. Very bias against you if you are not blonde. 7 years plus recovering his neuro patients in the ICU, not a thank you, a gift or even chocolate/coffee from him while he was making seven figures throughout COVID.

Excellent, listening with compassion.

My beautiful sister had back surgery with Dr. Marc Goldman in 2017. He promised she'd have improvement in her mobility from pain caused by deteriorating discs in her spine and that the surgery would be routine. It was anything but routine and caused her two months of horrible suffering before she passed away. My sister was young, kind, a light for others and an all around amazing soul. I am reminded every day of the huge loss our family has endured due to this procedure Dr. Goldman performed on my sister. My son no longer has his favorite auntie, my parents, their daughter, her boyfriend, the love of his life, my grandparents, their granddaughter and aunts and uncle's their niece. I am sad to see some are disregarding other's experience with this surgeon. I understand not everyone is truthful, but please trust in the process of doing your own research first. In any case when you are going to have a surgery make sure it's in trusted hands. I wish I could say I trust Dr.Goldman, but each… week that I have visited my sister's headstone over the last soon to be five years I'm reminded to warn others of his work. I will never get my sister back and will forever be changed without her here in my life. If you care about your health and loved ones do your homework first and research the doctors background, especially why he left Rhode Island to practice over here? At least be able to make an informed decision about your health. As far as Dr. Goldman goes please be careful it's your life that is truly on the line.

Dr Goldman gave me my life back! After many appts with other Drs I finally got to see Dr Goldman and Caoilin Hoctor. They took my condition seriously. Dr Goldman came in on a Saturday, his day off because my spine surgery was that emergent. I still have issues today that could have ended up much worse had I not seen him. I can’t thank him enough!

He doesn’t beat around the bush which is a good thing, most doctors sugar coat everything and don’t tell you what’s going on with your health. He answered all my questions and concerns before my surgery, amazing bed side manner and genuinely cared about my health since I am a new mom and was scared about getting a second craniotomy. My incision is healing amazing and I’m confident he has cured me. If you want someone who gives it to you straight and cares about your health go to dr. Goldman. He saved my life for my baby and my husband.

I had a family member who received what should have been a normal back surgery from Mr Goldman. From the beginning we knew things weren't right. Our loved one had immediate nerve damage with the left foot not cooperating and facing the wrong way after surgery. The incision itself was two inches larger then what we were told and kept leaking fluid. From there it was a bacteria infection in the spine and we had to seek treatment from Harborview to try and fix this surgeon's mistakes. We found out the hardware he used was the incorrect size in the back and it made a popping noise when our loved one moved causing great pain. It caused a bacteria infection, nerve damage and worse a loss of life. Two months after this horrendous surgery our loved one lost their life due to complications that stemmed from this back surgery. It was supposed to improve their quality of life. Instead it did the opposite and took a life. I want to express my deep concern with this man as a surgeon as I feel he… shouldn't be in practice! Also this was a young adult not someone who was advanced in life. The loss has been terrible for our family so please please get a second opinion when dealing with Mr. Goldman.

It does not surprise me he had bad reviews. I was referred to him and after multiple tests he referred me out with no explanation as to why he was unable to help. He possess poor communication skills as well as bed side manor. I had no issues with the staff.
