DR marc is not only professional, but he has an uncanny ability to make all sides of the family therapy heal.

After spending 12k for therapy for my son, who was 10 years old at the time until age 12 years old, I can say that Dr. Marc was an absolute waste of both time and money. We (parents) had provided an accurate history from the time our son was a toddler to present to be helpful in understanding his history. In addition, we provided a punch list of areas that were of most concern to work on. In spending 12k of therapy, seeing my son every week on a consistent basis, he was unable to pick up on signs and symptoms of Aspergers which our son was suffering from. Fortunately, for us, our son was referred to his middle school counselor as he was upset about something, this one person picked up on Asperger symptoms after spending only 20 minutes. Our son was immediately referred to a psychologist for proper testing and was diagnosed with Aspergers. This psychologist asked and was shocked that no one, not his current therapist, or other medical professionals seen ever picked up on it.… When we questioned Dr. Marc about how to tell our son that he has Aspergers, he replied that he hasn't read any materials about Aspergers in 25 years, even though he is a child psychologist. Dr. Marc's professional advise how to tell our son was to allow himself to go through with our son his test scores. This made no sense to me. I researched these situations and how best to discuss with my son and found helpful information how to tell my son in a compassionate and empathetic way. Dr. Marc's suggested approach lacked any professionalism and someone in his trade, who didn't spend any time reading about Aspergers in the last 25 years or or his client before him, was just shocking to us. I read 4 books, recent updated books to understand everything I could about Aspergers and also did my research on how to tell our son of his diagnosis so that he can go forth realize how beautiful his mind is and come away with a hopeful and positive image. Looking back on my son's therapy with Dr. Marc, I can honestly say, it was for nothing. No progress reports, he never took notes to refer, never setup a plan of what to work on or areas we can help or work on at home. Not one thing on our punch list of concerns was ever addressed or reported with a plan or results. Dr. Marc Komori was a blackhole for 12k.
