This urologist butchered me on 2 turp procedures. Went thru the prostate side wall the first time. 2nd attempt left me shredded in prostate causing severe leakage. Wore catheter 10 days each time. Original problem of cannot void was not corrected. Finally found a excellent urologist in az, who said he had never seen such a mess and wasn't sure what the first guy did other that the shredded mess. After az surgery, went home next morning without bag. No more leakage or bleeding. Voiding problem corrected. Would not take a dog to mark McAllister

I would not recommend McAllister to anyone. I went to Dr McAllister for a TURP for enlarged prostate and he butchered me when he went thru my prostate sidewall, causing excess bleeding and sent me home with a bag for 10 days until he was able to do the TURP again. I bled for 6 weeks after the 2nd TURP, but my urinating problems stayed the same as before. A good urologist now says he don't know what McAllister did, but he never seen a mess like I was left with. My new urologist did a no pain TURP, no bag and no bleedingand went home next day as he had said. After the terrible pain and 2nd TURP went wrong, I would not send a dog to McAllister. Because of him butchering twice, that required me to have a 3rd TURP. They are not fun. Glad I found a excellant urologist for my 3rd TURP. Don't ever go to McAllister for urology problems.
