I used to go to Dr Plescia for years. My daughter also went to him. I recently recommended a friend only to find out that Herndon Family Practice does not accept Medicare. Shame on them. These doctors are not getting any younger and yet they are not accepting senior patients.

Dr. Plescia is terrific. He is patient in explaining everything and answering all questions. He always discusses preventative medicine with annual check-up (and advice is not always "lose weight.") He looks for the simplest solution first. He is extremely intelligent, has wonderful people skills. When he refers me out to a specialist, he makes sure it is to a good doctor and checks the insurance list to make sure he is sending you to someone in your network. Do I trust him with my life? Yep.

Both my husband and I are new patients of Dr. Plescia and we are both completely satisfied with him as our General Practitioner. He is gentle and kind, and shows that he is interested in us as people, asking questions and answering any questions we have. We would both definitely recommend Dr. Plescia for anyone looking for a doctor. The staff is very nice, very quick, helpful and courteous.

Dr. Plescia is excellent. Unfortunately, he is stuck at an office that is not very efficient. The wait time is horrible- that is the office's fault not his. I have stayed with him because he is just a great doctor that it overshadows the poor office.

Very caring and explains his findings and diagnosis with the patient. Very professional and I would recommend him. Best doctor I have ever had and have been going to him for over 7 years
