Dr. Sakwa is an experienced and skilled surgeon who saved my life. He and his office staff were extremely helpful throughout this traumatic experience of mine. I highly recommend him to anyone needing cardiovascular or thoracic surgery. He has moved to California and works from Saddleback and Long Beach hospitals if you need to find him.

Went through the rib to replace aortic valve, so minimal scarring and much faster healing.Even U of M doesn't offer that! Excellent staff throughout the entire journey. Cannot recommend enough.

Went in for a Mitral valve repair procedure. Can't say enough for the skill of Dr Sakwa as it is going on 3 years and no problems. Minimally invasive procedure was painless and I experienced no discomfort Staff, while in the hospital, were all professional and friendly. Was discharged 5 days after the operation. I would recommend Dr Sakwa to a close family member if they were in need of a heart surgeon.

Had valve repair done 8 yrs ago by Marc Sakwa. And today my quality of life is a thousand time better...
