When it comes to breast radiology, you want a doctor who goes the extra mile to test, retest, or scan, whatever it takes to be certain that all is well. I appreciate her thorough approach.

I recently participated in the SoftVue clinical trial at Weinstein imaging. I specifically flew into Pittsburgh so I could participate in this clinical trial for women with dense breast tissue. My city did not offer this new technology so I searched for the closest location. I was greeted in the lobby by a friendly lady and waited only 10 minutes in their beautiful lobby. In order to participate in the clinical trial, I had to complete my annual mammogram screening first then I had my SoftVue scan. All of the employees whom I interfaced with were friendly and respected my time. The mammogram was quick and not as painful as my past mammograms. The SoftVue consent took 15 minutes to complete but the scan was only 5 minutes long. I laid on my stomach and the machine ultrasound one breast at a time. No compression or radiation. The bed was so comfortable I almost fell asleep. The room was low lit so I felt like I was in a spa. I highly recommend participating in the SoftVue… clinical trial at Weinstein Imaging. It was well worth my time traveling to their Cochran Road location.

I had a very positive experience at Weinstein Imaging. From the moment I entered the office, the front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The staff made me feel comfortable throughout the experience. Dr Bohm-Velez has excellent bedside manner and took her time reviewing the results with me and answering my questions. Most importantly, when an additional imaging study was needed, it was done the same day. I will definitely recommend this office to others.
