Dr. Marcelo Siqueira

I am a 91-year-old woman who needed a hip replacement. I consulted with several doctors who would not operate on me due to my age. dr siqueira saw the problem and advised that he could replace my hip with no problem. He scheduled the surgery very quickly and everything went well. He took time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions initially and at the follow up visit. His office was extremely helpful, especially Donna. She always returned my calls and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Dr Siqueira.

It went perfect.... I feel like a new man!

First met Dr. Siqueira at BID/Lahey Plymouth where I was taken to the ER and admitted after sustaining a significant fracture of my tibial plateau. As surgery was required, I was understandably anxious and had many questions. Dr Siqueira was very patient and thorough with his explanations. My postoperative follow up visits were never rushed and his calm and confident manner certainly helped with my recovery.

I would highly recommend dr. Siqueira especially to people who are highly active. His approach to hip replacement surgery had me walking unassisted without walker or cane stairs and all in less than 3 weeks. He lets pain be your guide which I was amazed because I barely used much of the pain meds mostly anti-inflammatory meds and Tylenol and believe me I would have used the stronger stuff if I had too.Have to have my other hip done because even though I’m only 63 a lifetime of running wore the cartridge out of both hips will Have other hip surgery in 2months ,can’t wait. I’ll be running pain free by the end of the summer, see you in hopkington. He’s the best!!!
