Dr. Marcia Freed, MD

Dr. Freed has changed my life. She was able to quickly diagnose that I was suffering from ADD. She prescribed the right medication and I am a new person. I am able to concentrate for long periods of time. I am a much more organized and motivated person. For the first time in my life, I am able to start and finish tasks. This may all sound pretty simple, but it is a major break through for me. Thank you, Dr. Freed!

Dr. Freed is an intelligent woman who means well and seems to, beneath the surface, sincerely care about the well-being of her patients. However, I do think that she could be more thorough when diagnosing. Her bedside manner is not the warmest, it's seems a bit similar to hard love (including the judgements), but I believe she does in fact care.

I saw Dr Freed for 5 months and I found her to be so unorganized. She always had to review my chart like she just saw me for the first time. She never offered any suggestions, just monitored my medications that my previous Psychiatrist. I needed to get my records for a disabilty claim and she couldn't find them when she has to keep them on file for a minimum of 7 years which is mandatory for her specialty. She was also very defensive and was more hostile than any doctor I ever met. I stopped seeing her after 5 months
