Dr. Marcia Debra Wolf, MD

Dr. Wolf is the best, most knowledge, Physiatrist I have ever had. She knows what she is talking about and what she is doing to help you.

She stopped practicing now I will be in pain forever!!!

Dr Marcia Wolfe is one of the finest doctors I have ever encountered have seen many during my 60 years on this planet with chronic pain conditions. Yes she is direct, and sometimes I have had to tell her so. I am a chronic pain person with a new hip ,plates and screws in my back all of my own ,doing leading an active life for years. Any chronic pain patient knows that they must visit a new doctor with their paperwork in order and bring their meds with them ,this is a common occurrence should not be a surprise. Maybe her bedside manner may not be for everyone. However do you want someone that's going to coddle you or do you want someone that's going to try to fix you ,tell you what you can to help yourself, and try everything. Maybe it is hard to hear , but YOU do reserve the right to tell her so! For example, I ride horses I probably should not but they are my soul they are my passion, any doctor will tell me not to ride while I have a new hip. The changing of… the medication laws has trashed MyLife. Unfortunately the people making the laws do not have the experience of living with daily pain or chronic pain as we do. I have seen Dr Marcia Wolfe for 7 or 8 years & driven to her from Pennsylvania Maryland and Virginia because I trust what she has to say. She is a sharp cookie, living in pain herself, dealing with the daily changes that attack pain management doctors in thier desire to treat the patients the best that they can legally and morally. I have never been refused by doctor Wolfe. She has always made accommodations for me. In desperate need for her, I have called her on her home line. When I really needed her and she took care of things even on vacation. If you're looking for someone to hold your hand and and give you medications , go somewhere else. So I ask you ,what do you want someone that you can count on no matter what or someone that's going baby you. Wait for the expert, but maybe the next time she's late it might be because she's taking care of your problems that have just occurred where she drops everything to talk to you.

You can expect to spend 2 hours at the office but only 5 minutes with Dr Wolf. She treats you like you are a junky rather than a person in severe pain desperate for help. Shows no compassion.

I took my disabled friend who is wheelchair bound to this doctor. i inadvertly left the office paperwork home. I was asked by the receptionist if I had brought the paperwork, my reply "no, I left them home". Before I could say another word, the doctor, Ms. Wolf yelled at me from down a hall; " Well I can't do anything without the paperwork done " . I was stund. She kept yelling. So I apologized to her staff and wheeled my friend out to leave. She was so rude. Then she yells "I guess you can sit and do it here". I wanted to go but my friend had waited so long for this appointment that I'd just suck it up. So I ask the receptionist for the paperwork. The doctor yells 'Did you bring your meds?" And a host of other questions with an attitude as if I had just committed a crime. My friend decided that he did not want to be seen by this doctor. So I apologized to the receptionist and left the office. I would not recommend this doctor. I hope her staff finds a new place to work. She was… godless awfulawful.
