Dr. Marco Antonio Benitez, MD

The "doctor" and staff are lacking in bedside manor, rude and my pain was worse after going under his treatment. I'm back under my GP MD for pain management until I can find another doctor.

I had worse pain after treatment. His staff are uncaring and the doctor is distant. I'm going back to my MD GP for pain management.

I've been with dr. Benitez for a few years and he has helped me with my nerve damage and Lord knows I needed the help.. I highly recommend this doctor and man, thank you Doctor Benitez.. Glenn loving

All of the ONE STAR and unseen ZERO ratings are absolutely correct. I came all the way from Las Vegas to go with my adult DEAF son for his pain management visit. He had seen Benitez 1 visit previously and told of Benitez’s contemptuous attitude. And it’s true. Benitez would not even look at my son, even after I told him that my son is deaf and reads lips. Benitez was belligerent, refusing to help my son in any way, refusing to turn around to speak to him, or even acknowledge him. Said he could not help him. Hmmm, my son has had a stroke, has diabetes, neuropathy, loses use of his legs and hands, falls, has a bad back, vertigo, in constant pain, plus several other medical issues but this man, Benitez said he didn’t know why my son was there. DUH, because the MD referred my son there for PAIN MANAGEMENT, since none of the ‘20 meds’ are helping him. So I guess everyone reading this can understand why I ask this point blank question to Benitez, “Are you a doctor?” Lol, then he thought… he was attempting to threaten me. What a flimsy jerk. Should not be ‘practicing’. The AMA should definitely check into man and jerk this jerk’s license. (You’ll notice that I have never referred to Benitez as Dr. He doesn’t deserve the title). On the first visit, Benitez walked out of the exam room away from my son with total arrogance and discourtesy. This time he was left alone in the room. SHAME ON HIM for his behavior, attitude, and abusing the medical profession.

We had been to three other doctors and no one had found what was wrong with my husband. Dr. Benitez began running tests and found out what the problem was and sent him immediately to a neurosurgeon for surgery the next day. He was very kind and compassionate, and he did not stop until my husband received the treatment he needed.

He is the most rude and unfeeling person. He walks in, no eye contact, turns his back to you and pays all of his attention to the computer screen. Asks you if you are here for refills he supposes, then out he goes, very impersonal. I don't think he cares much for his patients. I would give him a zero, but then I couldn't post my review.

As far as the Dr. he is a very nice man and a good doctor, however as for as his staff & office procedures they are in desperate need of an overhaul & some realistic provisions & exceptions made for patients that cannot meet their appointments due to no fault of their own.( ie.,) to old to drive, to blind to drive, lives in another state & has hardship getting to appointments because they depend upon someone else. I am very disappointed with their unwillingness to work with the caretakers of this kind of Dr.'s patients.

The best doctor

From the very beginning I have been treated with understanding and respect with regards to Dr. Benitez and his staff. I never feel shuffled around from one room to another. Dr. Benitez takes the time to really monitor my conditions and helps me make sensible decisions regarding my treatment.
