Dr. Marcos Antezana, MD

This doctor was terrible except at being arrogant and condescending. He does not listen and after several visits I’ve had enough! He flirts with his young female patients and acts bothered by the rest of us!

I'd been visiting different Dermatologists over dry skin issues for the past five years. Every visit was the same: "it's seasonal, put some lotion, wait it out". Every prescription was inefficient and I'd get back to square one. Dr. Antezana was the first to diagnose my problem as psoriasis and prescribe me an ointment that actually worked. The whole thing took 15 minutes, he listened to my prior experience and his analysis was on point. Thank you Dr. Antezana!

I saw him about my hair loss. He told me I have female pattern hair loss. I had started losing hair pretty rapidly at the back of my head. It was devastating to learn that all this hair loss was permanent. He did recommend Rogaine and an iron supplement. He convinced me that all I could hope for was to eventually slow down the hair loss. A month later I decided to see another dermatologist. She said I do have female pattern hair loss, there's some thinning on top of my head. However, the hair I was losing so rapidly was probably due to stress and low iron. Later I had my iron tested and it had gone up, but not a lot. Then I realized I could take the iron supplement every day, rather than every other day like Dr. Antezana recommended. I'm sure he must be competent in other areas, but I was very discouraged by my experience with him.

Dr Antazana is very good at this job and has a great bedside manner. He is very thorough when looking for skin lesions and discovered two that I would have never noticed.

The appointment was not worth it because he was only in the room for about 10 minutes and seemed in a rush. There are better derm. dr.s in this area. If you're going to take the time and money to see a derm dr see one that listens.

After being misdiagnosed by 5 doctors over 6 months, Dr. Antezana had correct diagnosis immediately and began treatment. I would not hesitate to schedule appts in the future when needing a dermatologist.

I found Dr. Antezana to be a very kind and caring doctor. He helped me in finding treatment solution that was beneficial for my daughter's condition. Dr. Antezana clearly loves his work and it reflects in his care of his patients.
