I am posting this message because I do not want anyone else to go through what I went through with Dr Reyes. I had the worst possible experience that changed my life forever! Between March 2018 and May 2019, I saw Dr. Reyes for my Glaucoma care. Due to Dr. Marcos Reyes's negligence, I lost my full peripheral vision in my right eye, leaving me with only my central vision. Dignosed with Glaucoma at age 41, I was terrified of losing my eyesight. Otherwise, healthy and leading an active lifestyle. I have always been very diligent about taking medication and having surgery when recommended by previous Dr's. to preserve my eyesight. Prior to seeing Dr. Reyes, I had 20/20 vision with no significant nerve damage. I trusted Dr. Reyes to make accurate professional decisions around my case. He was negligent with appointments and performed unnecessary surgery. As told to me by my current Dr. I lost my vision either during surgery or while recovering under his care. He did not do his due… diligence or practice professionalism, and integrity. He did not watch my disease and see me consistently as other Dr.'s had which is when significant nerve damage took place. He should have referred me out for a more advanced surgery as well. He was negligent during recovery, kept me on steroids for twice as long and ultimately referred me out to UofU after the damage was done. If he had followed medical practices and practical protocol, I would still have my vision. If you care about your vision DO NOT SEE DR. REYES!!

Hit all my expectations

Our son has glaucoma as a result of his port wine stain birthmark. When adolescence and hormones kicked in at 13, so did pressure spikes. Dr. Reyes was quick and decisive. We needed a doctor that was aggressive and knowledgable. Dr. Reyes did so much for us! We are grateful for him! He saved our son's eye. Thank you soooo much!
