I acquired a detached retina while out of state. Dr. Lord called me on a Saturday late afternoon to assure me he would see me on Monday after hours when I got back home. He operated on my eye that Wed. He was very blunt with me but caring, and said he would do his best to restore my vision. It is now almost 1 yr after my surgery and I couldn't be happier. I have about 95% of my vision back. Dr. Lord's staff are very patient and caring.

Dr. Lord kept his office after closing time to see me on an emergent basis. I had never seen him before. Within about a week, he operated on my left eye. He restored my vision. He has been following me ever since. I hope and pray he never moves out of town. He is dedicated, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. What could be better?

Dr. Lord made it clear as to what the possible risks were but assured me that a vitrectomy had a high probability of being successful. He then left the decision to proceed or not up to me. The vitrectomy result was excellent. It has been about three months since the surgery and I am completely free of what were vision impairing floaters, and for that matter all floaters. I highly recommend Dr. Lord with respect to vitrectomy surgery

He is building an incredible staff who are personable, prompt and excellent at what they do.

Dr. Lord has an excellent chair side manor. He explains eye issues with kindness and clarity. He truly cares about his patients and their overall eye health. Loved the staff as well, they were courteous and prompt.
