Dr. Marcus Ozaeta, MD

All four of my children have been to see him since he took over this practice. We LOVE Dr. Ozaeta and his staff is beyond wonderful!

Dr. Ozaeta has a wonderful rapport with my kids. He takes the time to explain his diagnosis and engage in friendly discussion. My kids genuinely love going to him. His staff is excellent. I've been to his office nearly 100 times (3 kids, ugh!) and every time I've been greeted with smiles by every person from check-in to check-out and every point in between.

Dr Ozaeta was fine as well as his nurses and medical assistants. I still chose to change physician because of his rude and unprofessional front office. Every time I called they treated me as if I were a teen mother and very flippant about my child's condition. Kay is, or was at the time the office supervisor, and its a no wonder the other ladies were the way they were... It was a demonstration of leadership. Sadly enough Dr Ozaeta is loosing his patients because if his front office. I'm certain I wasn't the first nor the last to change on the account of the front office.

I'm a single parent with 3 kids. I've had to schedule same-day appts for 1, 2 and even all 3... and Dr. Ozeata and his staff accommodated me every time. The office staff is extremely friendly. His diagnosis was always on target. The nurses and every involved in the care of my children was top notch. I highly recommend him.

This pediatrician was recommended to me by OBGYN when i was pregnant. He's seen my son since he was born and has always been polite and very attentive. Even when my insurance changed, they (staff) have always been helpful and seen my son and i no matter what.

Dr. Ozaeta is great with the kids, they loved going to him, it is unfortunate however that the office staff was rude and unprofessional in handling a situation that was their mistake. I had to bring in my son for ant bites, I talked to the nurse over the phone and she told me I needed to bring him in. I explained my new insurance was not yet in effect due to my husband starting a new job. And I would not have any money in the account until the end of the month due to my husband's unemployment. I talked to the office staff over the phone before I came AND asked them again when I signed him in and signed him out about writing a post-dated check and they assured me it would be fine.I wrote a post-dated check and Kim told me she would put it with the other post-dated checks. I later found out from my bank that they put the check through way before the date I had written on the check and it was returned. They put it through twice, causing a $50 fee from my bank, plus fees that your… office charges. When trying to resolve the problem, they were very rude and basically called me a liar. I spoke to the office manager about it when I first found out and she said Kim was on vacation at the time, but I can call her back when she returned and she told me to ask her to pay me out of her pocket, which I thought was very unprofessional for her to suggest that. I had to get a copy of the check from the bank and prove to them that it was indeed a post-dated check and that I was not lying. They told me that they would not help me out regarding all the fees and it was my responsibility. When speaking to the office manager she told me she was going to mail me the medical charts and told me to find another Dr. I was shocked and I asked her if she ever thought that I sounded rude in any way over the phone, she said, no, that I did not sound rude at all, but since I was not happy with what took place, why would I still want to take my kids there.I did not ask or authorize for her to send me my children's medical records, she just sent them without my consent. She did eventually agree to not charge me for the office fees for the NSF's, but I had a very hard time having her to agree to help me at all.I am so disappointed and actually hurt that this happened to me, I even told her that it really sounded like they cared more about the money than the patient. (she did not argue that point, so maybe it's true). I had been taking my kids there for 4 years and have always had a 0 balance and a great rapport with the Dr. and the staff. So it's really dissapointing that they chose to fight for a few bucks that was their mistake and lost out on our family being patients there.
