Dr. Marcus P. Porcelli, MD

Dr. Porcelli Never got back to me while eddie was dying in the hospital, promised to call me back and get more info for me, never did. Said he would look into what other tests could be done and get back to me, never called me back.. In fact, still waiting on a return call and Eddie passed away ( tomorrow will be a week ago). He treated Eddie like a Guinea pig, would ask questions for his records but all we got in return to our questions was a bunch of "I dont knows".. He would promise to call in meds, I'd show up at the pharmacy and nothing would be there. He is so out of the loop that his office just called to confirm an appointment for his patient that passed away almost a week ago. I do not recommend Dr. Porcelli. I hope noone ever treats his family or loved ones the way he treated us.

Needs to address calling back patients and families. Very disappointed, beyond any physician I have ever had contact with. Could not recommend to any one for any reason.

This doctor has wonderful bedside manner, and really takes the time to talk with his patients. Not once did I ever feel rushed.

Proceed with CAUTION. He is airheaded and forgetful. He confuses easily. He doesn't remember details. Promised to get info on specific studies and then said they were not available to us. Not only were they available, but I had spoken to the study directors who welcomed us in in spite of him. Insist that he review your entire chart before each appt. He has given invalid and erroneous information At the end, he billed me for an office visit for a loved one and insisted it was valid. My loved one had died a month earlier.
