Dr. Marcus Andrew Smith, MD

Dr. Smith has performed two surgeries on me, two level C spine fusion a three level lamenectomy L spine as well as 1 level fusion C spine on my wife. With each surgery all symptoms allieviated and pain relieved with full function returned. I’m a nurse of 16 hrs and have worked neurosurgery in the past. He is patient, kind and we had most excellent results. He listens and answers questions plainly. His support staff are very friendly and accommodating. We are most thankful to / for him.

I lost all respect and confidence in his after care.!! Caution is advised before having him ouch you!!

I am in my mid 70s and was in excruciating back pain. My orthopedist recommended a neurosurgeon . After researching many within 300 miles of Texarkana, I located Dr. Smith. My surgery went well and from the time I woke up from the surgery until today I haven't had any back pain whatsoever. Followup visits were easy with Doctor Smith taking time to answer my entire list of questions without rushing me. I have now been released to Physical Therapy to build up my back muscles.
