Dr. Clinton John Baird, MD

Dr Baird in my opinion is an outstanding neurosurgeon. I've been a health-care provider myself for over 30 years. After working in the industry for that long, you develop a keen eye for medical staff who "live the mission" and those who don't.

Bottom line, he just does not care. You will year this over and over about him. This is not a made up review from one of his friends like some of these. In real life, you will more than likely leave him disabled and he will not have an answer and he will not accept the responsibility from his actions. He will be more than happy to operate on you while there is money to be made...

I went to him and had great results. My son went to another surgeon and it didn’t go well. I wish we would have met him sooner.

I waited quite some time after my laminectomy to write a review to ascertain that indeed all was well. I appreciate Dr Baird’s skills as a physician. After experiencing immense sciatic pain due to a synovial cyst I underwent surgery on Feb 14 to remove the cyst. The pain was immediately gone. I experienced complications six days after the surgery which was no fault of Dr Bairds. I also experienced a second complication which was a repeat of spinal fluid leakage. I questioned many things including the skill of the physician during this time and I experienced anxiety due to the repeated complications yet at the end of the day all turned out well. There were times I felt I needed more information and communication yet after a lot of thought I understood that what I Imagined as not enough communication from Dr Baird was only due to my anxiety and lack of knowledge and his confidence in his ability as a physician. Dr. Baird showed concern and expressed sorrow for my complications. … I would definitely enlist Dr. Baird for any future medical issues requiring a neurosurgeon. I live two hours away and certainly feel the inconvenience of the distance is worth it in order to utilize his expertise.

I can barely move my arms now

Dr. Baird performed a 4/5 fusion. During the operation he damaged nerves for both my left and right feet, leaving me partially paralyzed. In my year of rehab he seemed unconcerned. I was unable to walk for more than a few feet without severe pain: 7/8 level. At my one year check-up he declared his operation a success. But I answered that I have constant pain and cannot walk. At that point he told me that I had lost confidence in him and threw me out of his office, saying that he was terminating me as a patient. He did not recommend any other physician. I have since found out that his behavior was at a minimum, unethical, and perhaps even illegal.

Most respectful, caring doctor I’ve seen in a long time. Takes time with patients, answers all questions, and made sure I knew what was happening. Highly recommend

Dr Baird performed spinal surgery with hardware on L4, L5 and S1. I left the hospital with numbness in my right leg and foot and also some in my left foot near and including my big toe. Two months later I was given an epidural. Dr Baird told me to let him know if it helped. I waited two weeks as the pain management Dr recommended. I then contacted Dr Baird’s office three times in one week and left messages that the epidural did not make a difference. I finally spoke with someone who said she would send him a message to see if he was going to try another treatment. I am still waiting to hear back. I feel like I have been patient long enough. I am not very happy with the treatment I have had from his office. I do not know if he is getting the messages or just not responding.

Absolutely no integrity. No ownership of his mistakes. Does not seem to care for patients only the money. He may have technical skills to do the job but nothing beyond that.
