Dr Durante was one of the doctors I saw in a group at NYU Langone. There were around 6 of them and all but two were nasty. Dr Durante stood apart from the rest, she empathized with my being a first time mom, unlike the others in the group. She explained everything to me and entertained all my questions. She went with my gut first before making a clinical diagnosis and listened to me when O said I "felt" my baby was breech. She was funny, down to earth and easy to talk to. I was so lucky to have her deliver my son. I highly recommend her and her straightforwardness. She never ever rushed me or made me feel badly like the other doctors did. I have endometriosis and a loooong history with gynocologists. Take it from me, she's the best. I travel out all the way from Jersey to see her.
