Dr. Margaret A Kelley, MD

I suggest going to literally any other facility than here. If I could give it less than one star, I would. The facility is older and run down, there were bugs in the patient rooms, everything was yellowed and dingy, and so much more. I waited OVER AN HOUR for each of my appointments. This doctor was incredibly rude when I asked if it was typical to be running so late and she basically jumped down my throat saying that they were late because of surgeries in the hospital (note: no apology or "I'm sorry for the long wait"). I felt disrespected when told "you need to go use the bathroom, NOW". I walked out of my second appointment immediately after the doctor addressed me and got a refund. I will never return to this place nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. There are ways to avoid this and those actions were not taken. The facility can be cleaned. The staff can be nicer. They could let patients know that they are running late upon check in. They could give the option to… reschedule. They could at least act apologetic when starting your appointment over an hour late. There are solutions available if this office cared more about decent customer service, but clearly they don't.

Overall, I’m satisfied with the service and care I received by Dr. Margaret Kelley. While the wait can occasionally be long and the actual visit short, it’s understandable being that she’s an OB, so patience and preparation are necessary. Just in regards to the doctor herself, she’s very thorough and thoughtful with her care and treatment. Although, I didn’t quite feel as though I had much of a say in my treatment/plans, I trusted her judgment and felt confident in her care. I didn’t find her the most personable doctor, in fact, I found her to be a bit intimidating mostly, but she was friendly, professional, and certainly confident in what she does. All in all, if you’re looking for a doctor that is capable, knowledgeable and experienced, especially in high-risk pregnancy, she’s definitely a great pick. Again, she’s not the most personable and her professional, no-nonsense demeanor can almost be uncomfortable at times, but she’s still an adequate choice.

The Wait is long. And she doesn't really take the time to listen to your opinions and is rude. She is a doctor that is just in it for the money. Definitely finding a new doctor who really cares.

Excellent Doctor, however long waits. She is an OB doctor so she has to go deliver babies.

Just do yourself a favor and find another gynecologist if you are pregnant. Don't let her politeness fool you. She pretends to care about your opinions but she does what she wants to do and you have no say Just rushes you out of every appointment. And your left wondering what is the next step to your pregnancy. Also rushed my delivery and had an unnecessary c section. As ignorant as it sounds just find another doctor. I wasnt going to write a review but i just dont want any one to go through the same thing i went through. Everyone deserves a good doctor throughout there pregnancy and delivery especially if its your first pregnancy.

I waited for over an hour to see Dr. Kelley because she was at the hospital. I was her first patient when she came back, but she saw everyone else before she saw me. She spent all of 5-6minutes with me and that was it. Each time I go back, I feel like the experience become less personal and more like a drive thru transaction.

I was her first patient in line and she saw four other people before she came to me which upset me because I had already been waiting for an hour. Then she only saw me for 5 minutes and didn't really ask any questions to get an accurate diagnosis.

I was referred to Dr. Kelley by family members when I found out I was pregnant with my first baby. She seemed very nice, knowledgeable, and to the point, and gave me a good impression the first visit. Unfortunately, I didn't feel a connection with her as I progressed through my pregnancy. I felt like just another paitent, and she really didn't get to know me or my medical history. You often left waiting in the waiting room for one to two hours before going in (which is fine), but once in, Dr. Kelley will usually see you for just a few minutes; in, out and done. She wasn't really interested I learning about my birth plan and what I had envisioned for my labor and delivery. She said babies have their own schedule (which I understand), and that she was the doctor and knew what she was doing and that I should trust her. She didn't even want my doula present during my labor and delivery; she said they get in the way. Mind you, our doula was there to give us added support due to the fact… that both my partner and I are disabled. She didn't seem very supportive of a natural labor and kept insisting that I get an epidural (I repeatedly said no thank you, I'll wait). I just got the impression that she wanted me to deliver quickly so that it was convient for her. She seemed very strict and uptight; she didn't even want my partner to cut the cord. Don't get me wrong, Dr. Kelley is a great doctor. She just wasn't the right doctor for me and my partner when it comes to delivering our baby. I will definitely look for a different doctor is is more supportive of a natural labor when we get ready to deliver our second child.

I was woken up by a call fr dr Kelley, telling me my blood results were positive & that I had to go see a specialist for a sonogram, that we had to go test for Down syndrome because according to my blood results it was positive. Of course this being my first experience ever with this I agreed...I really wish she would have approached me in a more sensitive kind way & explained to me this test is not necessary unless u know u would have an abortion if it came out positive for DS, because ur miscarriage chances are much greater if u go through with it. & that would b the only reason ud need this shot that goes in ur belly and draws liguid samples out. But she didn't explain that to me, this being my 1st time through this I thought it was for the good of the baby to know early if something was wrong wth her. Which even if it came out positive that's all it's for, & it's not that I'd b able to change or help my baby's health. Of course after the bad phone call I received fr dr. M. Kelley… I was completely worried & it's all I could think of, omg my poor baby please dnt let anything b wrong wth my baby's health. I have 3 healthy beautiful genius children fr a 1st marriage that ended up in divorce after 10yrs of cheating he did. After her phone call my mind was telling me, thats what u get, this is happening to you for starting a new family instead of just sticking with ur old marriage. I've been with my new husband for over 2yrs & he is perfect in every way, what i deserve, I can't believe Dr.kelley made my mind wonder to think that maybe I don't deserve to be happy that I should have stayed with my ex, that I was about to have a DS baby for starting a new family trying to give my new husband his 1st biological child(which he already has 3 fr me because he loves & treats my 3 as his own) She should have not of been so cold over the phone with those news , & instead said, because of ur age (34) the risks for a DS baby are higher, so if u know that no matter what ur keeping ur baby then there's no need for this test, unless u would like to abort the baby if it came out positive the test would answer that. My new husband & I would have kept & loved our baby no matter what so this test was unnecessary for us, but I wasn't consulted about it correctly. I received the phone call this morning & my results were normal, my baby is fine. My mind was put through something that wasn't necessary if she had just said " because of ur age u have an option of this test" ..Not "ur positive for Down syndrome so I'm sending u to a specialist to confirm if u are carrying a DS baby, u might not be but ur results were positive & ur risks are high" & that is just one of the reasons I'm switching doctors, my last visit with her she would not let me talk and ask my question I had about a health problem I had, she kept shutting me off and said I'm the doctor u don't know more than me. ..I agree u are the doctor and that's why I'm here to seek ur help, but how could u help if u don't allow me to talk and get my concern out,..? I'd like to feel at ease when I go to see u & know I can ask my doctor any questions and not have my doctor cut me off because she just wants to leave. I'd like to feel like my doctor cares about how I'm feeling . Won't recommend or be returning.
