Dr. Maria-Elizabeth Victoria Borelli, MD

This doctor/practice obviously has more patients than they can handle and the office staff is incompetent and hateful. Office manager is extremely rude and quickly lets you know that she does not care to address any concerns you may have. You can quickly be replaced so don’t dare think your concern are important to them. Unfortunately this is what happens when a medical practice is established and no longer needs its patients. You are just a number and not worth the time of day to them.

Called to schedule a new patient appointment and was given a date and time a couple weeks out. I took the afternoon off work for the appointment, but when I arrived I was told my appointment was on another date weeks away and wouldn’t be seen. I kindly explained that I wrote the date and time in my calendar immediately and was positive that was what I was told. The receptionist and office manager said it must have been “my mistake” and there was no way possible I could be seen that day. I was dumbfounded at the insensitive way I was treated as there was absolutely no apology or attempt to rectify the situation. Another new patient signed in right before me for the same doctor at the same time so it seems my appointment didn’t get entered into the schedule properly and was offered to another person. This experience was extremely disappointing and I decided to choose another practice that actually cared about their patients.

I'm so glad I found Dr Borelli. She is caring and listens to her patients. The office and nurses get to know the patients to help put you at ease.

I'm fairly healthy, so I only see Dr. Borelli once a year. At that time, I make an appointment for the next year, usually 12 months in advance. A week before the last time I was supposed to see the good doctor, her receptionist called to see if I could reschedule my appointment. I try to make my appointment on a specific day of the week due to my work schedule, and I try to make it the first hour they are open. The receptionist asked if I could make it at 10:00am, and since I could make it at that time, I agreed. If the appointment was any later than that, I wouldn't be able to make it and would have to reschedule for another day. The day of the appointment came and I got to the office at 9:30am. 10:00 goes by as does 10:15, 10:30, and 10:45. At 11:00, I finally ask the receptionist what was going on. She said my appointment was for 11:00am. I had a disagreement with her and she got nasty. I told her to have the doctor call me when she had an open appointment and I left. … Dr. Borelli never called and I never went back. I called just now to have my prescriptions sent to a new pharmacist, and was on hold for 10 minutes before the phone rang and rang and rang without anyone answering. It is Columbus day and maybe they're not open - but why not simply say the office is closed and to call back another day? Although I like Dr. Borelli very much, I don't care for the office help at all. I'm through with them.

Great Doctor and Wonderful PA, but the office staff is incompetent.

IF i was NOT bound by this stupid Medicare HMO'S wellcare, i would still be seeing Dr Borelli. She CARE, she LISTENS, she is thorough!!

Doctor Borelli is a great doctor! She goes deep in the problem- she talks to me and explain everything I need to know about my health and I am very happy with her.
