Dr. Maria Cartaya, MD

Very knowledgeable Dr and she practice her profesión with love, I visited with a skin infection that my daughter had, after visiting a couple more dermatologist and she resolved the problem only with one visit, really knows what to prescribe to a patient.

I am a MD myself. My visit to Dr. Cartaya surprised me incredibly. She is such an integral doctor, she does not limit herself to the skin, she takes into account every single aspect of your body including your emotions. This is for me the meaning of being a MEDICAL DOCTOR following Hypocrates. Wish she could teach Her colleagues in Miami what it means to really attend a patient! Congratulations!

This is my second visit, very professional, clean, I had a great experience. and my problems solved......

She is a non-board certified physician. Not a dermatologist in this country. She is a General Practice Doctor. Outdated, and not up to date with how medicine is in this country. Her receptionist has no Idea what she is talking about, the office is run very poorly. Never seen a dermatology office look so old, stinky, and antiquated. Bugs all over the floor that looks like it was spare tiles from an old house! Never going back. Not to mention the wait time to see her was not worth the 1 hour she spends talking to you about everything else except your medical concerns.

Beautiful, clean envitonment. Kind amicable receptionist, Dr Cartaya is very knowledgeable and professional. I had read other negative comments and was skeptical, but I am writing this after my vist. They not only diagnosed and prescribed me perfectly, but followed up and responded timely to my questions via email. I recommend her.

The waiting time is ridiculous, over 2 hours. E eryone is told from 9-1 but dr gets there @10 with a lobby full of people. Not very clean, dirty floor. All follow ups are 3 weeks , Mercurochrome, & milk the diagnosis.

Worst doctor i have ever visited.
