The wait times are horrible even with an appointment. The staff isn't friendly and they are always rushing you. When the doctor finally comes in she's there anywhere from 3-5 minutes and she shows no interest in hearing about your health concerns.

Dr. Maria Faylona's office is the most disrespectful and unprofessional office Ive ever dealt with. 1) The office staffs carelessness and lack of professionalism is infuriating. The Drs. site says there office opens at 8:30a but they do not even have the professionalism to start answering phones till at least an hour later, or appearantly whenever they feel its convenient. I had an issue getting a prescription authorized, so I had to make a call (only one) to my health insurance provider to get the issue resolved, but It took three to four calls to the office staff to get them to handle the issue and finally get the prescription to the pharmacy when I was seriously in need. 2) The Dr. and her assistant Joyce are impersonal and cold toward their patients. On an attempt to speak with the Dr. I asked for a simple two minutes, or less, to ask a question but the Drs assistant Joyce was rude and persistant about blocking any access to the Dr. and the Dr. herself was was extremely… careless and wouldnt take the call. 3) After calling and receiving such issues from them I became upset and told them that if the Dr. and the rest of the staff were going to continue to be so careless and disrespectful than I would find a new Dr. A few days later I received a letter from their office not to apologize, but to further their disrespect and say that they were discontinueing their service as my Primary Care Provider. I would strongly suggest using ANY other Dr. but Dr Maria Faylona and her office staff.

I wasn't feeling well and decided to do a walk in before they opened. The lady in the front was nice and said they would squeeze me in and I probably see the nurse practitioner or the doctor. It just depends how busy the doctor was. I didn't wait too long considering I was a walk-in. Luckily I saw the doctor. They treated me for my cough and cold. They sent my medication to my pharmacy and I was out pretty quick. Considering other doctors I see, I feel like I spend half the day there, but not here. I still would prefer to make an appointment for my next visit.

CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND THE STAFF WAS OUT TO LUNCH I LEFT MY NAME , PHONE NUMBER AND BRIEF MESSAGE . 3 DAYS LATER THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE CALLED BACK. WHEN I FINALLY GOT MY APPOINTMENT I ARRIVED 15 MINUTES EARLY, SIGNED IN AND SAT IN THE WAITING ROOM.. FRONT OFFICE STAFF CALLED ME UP TO THE WINDOW TO CONFIRM MY INSURANCE (SO THEY KNEW I WAS THERE) AND I WENT BACK TO THE WAITING ROOM. AFTER SITTING THERE FOR 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES PAST MY APPOINTMENT TIME I FINALLY GOT FED UP AND TOLD THE FRONT OFFICE I WAS LEAVING AND THEY BETTER NOT BILL ME OR MY INSURANCE. ALSO 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 YOU WILL NOT SEE DR. FAYLONA BUT HER ASSISTANT , WHO HAPPENS TO BE JUST AS RUDE AS THE DOCTOR. I WOULD RATHER BE SICK THAN TO USE THIS DOCTOR OR HER ASSISTANT AGAIN HOPEFULLY NOT ALL MEDICAL DOCTORS ARE LIKE THESE

Her office staff is very rude. She is very nice at first. She came in to see me and give me my lab results.When she was finished she didn't give me a chance to say anything before she left the room. When I left the room I went to tell her something and I tapped on the window and motioned for her to come out. She yelled at me and said talk to my staff and dont call me like that. I always wait an hour before seeing her. Other times waited as long for her nurse practioner.

The worst temper I've ever encountered in an M.D. Don't question her about anything about your case. She'll kick you out of her office, embarise you infront of anyone that is there and threaten you to call the police! (it happend to me!) Total nut case!

I wished I saw all these reviews before I went to her. She was very nice when I first met her. But I have to agree with the other reviews here, I felt rushed as well. My last appointment, I do have more questions but she turned around so quickly and was even talking while walking away. I was shocked and find it very unprofessional. I did not even get this treatment when my insurance use to be HMO. The front staff was not friendly, the med asst that took my vitals doesn't seem to know what she is doing because she asked me why my temperature is low. How the heck do I know? I am suppose to go back there in 2 weeks, not sure if I want to now. Wish I can find another filipino doctor -- this time hopefully somebody that actually cares.

- Her staff doesn't go direct to the patient to tell about what to do like if the patient needs blood test before getting prescription from Dr. Faylona. They will call the pharmacy who faxed the request refill. When you call direct to them, the staff will say ask your pharmacy to fax the request refill. Why they don't advise by phone the patient what to do and then advise the pharmacy about what the patient and Dr. Faylona have decided to do.- They don't even bother to send result of your test or advise that the result is there already. They will call you when there is only problem. Of course, patients have the right to know the result even normal result. This also a way to know that they are giving a close monitoring to your health.- the staff is kinda rude. - if you are high blood, Dr. Faylona knows how to treat it. So, once you see her, she should know when you need to have blood test again. From that visit, she should issue a blood test form already. But, what is happening is that… she will not give you a blood test form and then when you have no medicine and you need prescription. She will ask you to make a visit which is you have a co-pay. and then what? she will just do nothing, but issue a form and a little chatting with you. So, visit(just to issue blood test form) - blood test - visit (to discuss the result). you will have 2 times co-pay. Blood test has no co-pay only the visit. - she like the other doctors that always in a hurry to leave you.
