I am a patient for 9 years. Before I saw this doctor I was in dozens of doctor's offices for my left leg swelling. They treated me with antibiotics and creams but the swelling got worse and worse. I lost my job. She diagnosed my problem of lymphedema and started me on treatment with compression socks, a pump, and physical therapy. i finally can go back to work and even fit in my pants again. She is caring and spends lots of time. Her staff is good to. I see her at brooklyn office at hospital, but I can also see her in Staten Island. Happy again

I love my surgeon. She has been taking care of me and my mother for 20 years. My mother is very skeptical about going to just any doctor and I was amazed how my mother felt so comfortable with her. We both have bad varicose veins and leg swelling. Dr. Fodera does testing in her office which is convenient and the staff are so good to me and mom. We are both doing so much better with our legs now that we have seen her and have a good plan to reduce leg swelling. She coordinated our care plan by talking to our cardiologist and internist. Most doctors do not spend this time with you. Try her and you will not leave her.

Dr. Fodera is beautiful inside and out. She took care of my mother for 11 years. She said her life by operating on her carotid. She is a skillful surgeon, but also shows that she loves her partients. My whole family was very comfortable with her. Denise in Staten Island

Scam artist. I've received a bill and it included many procedures / exams that she never performed on me. My insurance company said they refuse to work with her given the past record

This woman is a heartless scam artist who preys on elderly people. Sued my 88 yr old grandad in 2017 for 2300, showed up on first court date and postponed then on the second court date, never showed up. Now three years later suing again. She’s the beyond despicable. She should be barred from practicing

worst doctor ever, greedy money hungry asks for charge card . this doctor charges for authorizations to get ct scans, mri and etc. no doctors charge for this only her. She bills your card and charges 10% on top of that. she charged me $75 to get an authorization for a CT scan with a 10% fee on top of that total $82.50. She is rude, uncaring makes you wait long before she sees you. It dosn't matter if you have an appointment you have to wait anyway. Her staff is rude also. There is a constant flow of new patients in her office, she can;t seem to hang on to any patients. When trying to cancel an appoint with her, her staff resorts to intimation tactics.

These people act like gangsters. The staff is rude and are the dr family. The doctors conduct is rude as well. I was not happy when I visited here. All the other reviews are spot on! True and correct.

Before this review, I want you to know that I read all the other reviews first to see if anyone out there felt the same as I do about this Doctor !!! Well, all I can say is that if you read all the "one star" reviews about her and then times that by a million I still could not describe what a "TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, MONEY GRUBBING, SELF ABSORBED, UNCARING, so called Dr. she is.... RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE.... Don't say you weren't warned..!!!!! I don't know what she did to get through medical school.... One can only imagine !!!
