DON’T GO TO THIS DOCTOR! STAFF SUCKS!! Had an appointment and called three times to confirm the appointment, no one picked up in the office. I call back and the receptionist tells me the clinic was open that day. As a patient I did not know that the office was open because no one picked up my phone call. Had leave a voicemail to cancel it. Literally no one called to confirm my appointment and no one is picking up my phone. Prior to this experience I had a virtual appointment with the doctor and I was sitting in the call for 40 MINUTES. Thats ridiculous, if you have pain you know how it feels like to be eager for an answer… When scheduling an appointment for a follow up and telling the receptionist my pov she literally HUNG UP THE PHONE on me. This clinic/office isn’t doing good and this is coming from someone who works at a clinic. As a person who is still considered (PEDIATRICS) and w/ pain this doctor putting me last or doesn’t believe my situation. Terrible experience 0/10 loll

I have a patient of Dr Herrera's for about 10 years. She's always been kind and straightforward about everything and I have always ended up better for it. I initially went to her as a chronic pain patient and , at first, was put off by the "abundance of caution" - drug tests, pill counts, history checks,... but after a sort time, I realized that it was more than for her benefit, it was for mine. Dr H has shown many times over that she cares for her patients, going over and beyond her physician duties to make her patients better. I trust her with every medical (and some non-medical) issue I face and am so glad I stuck with her in the beginning.

If you are not her first patient, plan to wait 1-2 hours to see her...my first visit I thought she left to lunch and forgot she had patients to see. Everything is about money with her and her husband who sits and does paperwork while she’s running back and forth, I’m surprised they don’t charge for the bathroom key!!! If I could give this office 0 stars I would.

Two hour wait each time I went, she spent under a minute with me, did not ask me if my pain was any worse or better, did not ask me if the medicine was working for me, did not go over the mri or catscan i just had previous to the appointment. And speaks Spanish the majority of the time in front of English patients. I would not recommend this doctor to anybody

Accompanied my daughter to see this doctor and was very pleasantly surprised. She has been through a long list of doctor and healers for her ailments but not one has stopped to listen like Dr. Herera. She was polite and attentive and , most importantly, provided a clear plan to getting my daughter better. The office is clean and modern and easy to get to (next to the central islip courts and The Ducks ballpark) and the staff was helpful and friendly. Good find!

Went to see Dr. Herrera because my internist suggested I see a specialist for my back pain. Called the office and got an appointment pretty quickly. I had no wait, even though the office was pretty crowded when i went in. She was very nice, listened to my complaints and was quick to offer possible sugestions. So far, everything we have done has worked and I am doing better than I have in years!
