1 star — Would not recommend. I waited three months for this appointment, arrived 30 minutes early, and was still left waiting nearly an hour past my scheduled time while the staff loudly complained every time someone walked in. The entire visit felt chaotic, disorganized, and unprofessional. When Dr. Laynes finally came in, she rushed, shushed me when I asked questions, mixed up my information with another patient, and then blurted out a Lupus SLE diagnosis without explanation, compassion, or clarity. When I tried to talk through my symptoms, she repeatedly cut me off and jumped straight to rattling off medications — about six different ones totaling 10 pills a day — without reviewing risks, interactions, or why they were being prescribed. Her staff continued the trend. They told me labs “wouldn’t be happening” because they “leave at 4:30,” openly discussed my personal information in front of another patient, handed me a juvenile lupus pamphlet (I’m 37), and complained about how… busy they were while giving me an injection. One even said, “When you think you got it bad, others have it worse.” I left the office in tears, confused, overwhelmed, and with zero clear information about my diagnosis or treatment. This was the worst medical experience I’ve ever had. No patient deserves to be treated this way, especially during a serious new diagnosis.

If your looking for a doctor that will listen to you and do her best to help you out....Don't waste your time or money on this one. I have no insurance and for the last 6 months I have tried to get her to give me a new med that will help me. The only med she will talk about is one that cost $4,400.00 a month. That is the best price I can find through Good RX. (no insurance, remember). And today I called her office for the 3rd time to ask the same question that I have been asking for the last 7 days. Going to her is a waste of time. Her office staff is great! That has to be what keeps her in business.

Dr Laynes spent, literally, my entire office visit typing. She never looked at me, examined me or asked how I was. SHE TYPED, handed me a script for a medicine I can't take. She would have known that if she had actually spoken to me. No examine, one my first visit! You will not get any help here. Not a good Dr.

Misdiagnosed, and when corrected, didn't tell about the side effects of medication for the actual diagnosis. Just in a hurry to prescribe with little care for the perspective of her patients.

She has a terrible bedside manner. My husband and I both saw her, and she would discuss my husband's medical problems during my office visit even though I didn't mention him. After my encounter with her, I stopped seeing her because I didn't trust her.

My Mom and I have finally found a doctor who really gets us. She's great and has good ideas on how to keep being healthy. Can't wait till our next appointment in July!

Dr. Laynes is the greatest. She takes time to talk with me and answer any questions I have. Love my doctor:) I would send my friends and family to her.

I have been going to dr laynes for 6 years and I have never had any complaints. Dr laynes is always very friendly and tries to get to k ow her patients. I have never felt like just a "number" there. She has always answered my questions efficiently and has been so caring towards my diagnosis. I would recommend her to anybody.

Staff is very unprofessional, bordering on nasty. No indication that I, as a patient, have any importance to the doctor or her practice. Knowledge of internal medicine seems to be lacking. Feel like she's interested my money and not in me as a patient or as a person. Long wait time is inexcusable - I was kept waiting at least 45 minutes at each visit, usually longer. Have switched doctors

I saw Dr. Laynes for 3 absolutely worthless appointments. She could not answer any questions that I had. She prescribed me a medication and told me it was my only treatment option, which I found to be completely false after speaking to another doctor and pharmacist. She ordered multiple blood tests at my first two appointments and could not effectively explain the results. To top it all off, she answered a personal call on her cell phone while in the middle of a discussion with me with no apology. I would not only not recommend her, I would strongly advise not even bothering to see her.
