Dr. Maria Jesus Lozano, MD

I saw Dr. Lozano conveying experiences with abusive family involved in multiple activities including broad scale sexual abuse of minors. I was trying to deal with my own abuse and the extreme trauma resulting. I expressly stated she was not authorized to speak to anyone about my car since my family was threatening and extorting info from friends and other medical providers. When I returned, I was speaking about some bothersome flashbacks memories. She interrupted and told me that what I was saying was wrong, I said, how would you know. She continued and I said no! She then burst out, that isn't what your mother said! I said "WHAT?". At the time, I was holding a very resp. job, in full functionality and age 28. I got up and she commanded me to sit. I started walking out and she screamed at me while I walked out. The people in the waiting room just stared at this woman. Things escalated in my life that were very serious. This woman is neither trustworthy nor was she… working in my best interest.

I recently moved out of state, so I am no longer able to see Dr. Lozano. It was always a pleasure to see her and she was so easy to talk to. I am very grateful for all the help and support she has provide to me over the years.

This office is AMAZING!! The Doctors and staff do everything with such personalized care. I dont feel like a number. Thanks for what you do for me Dr. Lozano!

scheduled an appointment and waited FIVE months for an open spot and i called before my appointment and was told i never scheduled the appointment. completely unreliable

Dr. Lozano needs more staff. We have new insurance and they do not take the time to learn about how it works. Instead of charging $25.00, they gave me a long explanation about why I was about to be charged $171 for 1st visit and the others were $52. No good knowledge about medical codes. That is why we pay for good insurance. I simply left the office. While in there, employees were so busy discussing other issues and were not picking up the phones. I don't know the reason why the staff is like that but Dr. Lozano must do something or it will be a revolving door and forever accepting new patients. I can only speak about the staff since I left and never saw Dr. Lozano

She is very nice and definitely knowledgeable. She spends time with you and doesn't make you feel rushed at all. I feel fortunately to have found her. The jury is still out as to the staff.

I started seeing Dr Lozano several years ago, when my insurance forced me to change from Dr Napolitano, whom I love and is an excellent doctor. I was less than happy with finding a new doctor. However, I am very grateful to have found Dr Lozano. She listens, takes her time with you, makes suggestions and isn’t afraid to try different and new therapies. She is always pleasant and truly cares for her patients. I give her an A+!!! Also, I have moved 30 miles away from her, and I have many choices for doctors closer to home. I stayed with Dr Lozano and continue to make the drive for the last 5 years and will continue. Excellent doctor!

Dr Lozano is and has always been great. She always listens and I never feel rushed. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lozano has a way of putting a person at ease when you step into her office. I was a new patient, and it was my first time seeing a psychiatrist. She patiently listened and took her time during my appointment. Then she discussed the options for treatment with me. She is highly knowledgable and demonstrates sincere care for the patient. She takes a conservative approach and believes in slowly introducing minimal medication. Her office staff are helpful and organized. I highly recommend her!

From the beginning Dr. Lozano knew me by name and remembered our conversations. We had to try a few treatment options until we found the one that works for me. I have been doing well for several years now.
