Dr. Maria Luisa Oquendo Claudio, MD

This doctor practices at Atlanticare Atlantic City NJ now. It’s no surprise she has so many negative reviews. At first she was pleasant/friendly and informative but is dishonest and tried to cover up a medical mistake she committed and gaslight me to make it appear that I misunderstood what she said, when I’m fact it was her lack of understanding how hospice care works. I rarely pull out my doctor card but did with her. It was so obvious that she was lying about her mistake; she even made a micro expression smirk that totally gave herself away. Luckily I was recording her. I also asked her a medical questions she should have known the answer to and was inarticulate. The next day I spoke to Dr. Kwok the doctor she alternates with and he was fantastic, an excellent communicator, very knowledgeable, and compassionate. I’ve opened up an investigation on this quack.

She came in the room screaming at me like I was dog, when I only came in for a medication refill. She accused me of being drug seeking, she stood in front of me screaming and making fun of me as I was talking, then told me that I needed mental help, all they while leaving the exam room door open for everyone any anyone to hear her berate me. Still didn't renew my prescriptions and I walked out in tears.
