Beyond Unprofessional. This physician threatened to call the cops on me for standing in the hallway near the front because the waiting room is packed. There are people already waiting in the waiting room and the entrance stairs of this location and she claimed that “only patients who are being registered are to wait near the front because you can hear private information. Go wait outside” that came from the doctor herself after yelling at me multiple times saying that she didn’t want to stop seeing patients to take care of printing my paperwork. After I had been there for over an hour. She then blamed me for not getting a seat in her waiting room. She said “if you got here first, you should’ve gotten a seat so you’re not standing in my hallway.” So apparently it’s my fault she has no space in her waiting room. she has a policy that states she needs 1 month in advance for chart requests. I asked for these papers in February. After months of being told that they are not ready we were… told to come in today 4/11 after 1 pm and that they would be ready for pickup. When I appeared in the office the receptionist told me she is waiting for the doctors authorization. One hour later, still waiting. That’s when the doctor came out and told me “you were not called to come pick up the papers so now you will sit and wait or you can leave because I’m not going to stop seeing my patients to go to the library to print these papers.” I did in fact get a call from her office to pick my papers up. My new doctor had requested these papers via fax in February. This doctor said she doesn’t do electronic. Apparently you also need to be in person for them to start printing records because she doesn’t want to waste paper incase the person doesn’t show. But she said it herself, she doesnt want to stop seeing patients while Im there after requesting that i come in person to pick the papers up. The unprofessionalism shows. It’s also a hipaa violation to not release my chart for over 30 days.

We are extremely happy with WNY Pediatrics! Dr. Oropeza is incredible and also so confident when it comes to her practice. She is so patient with our "first time parents" questions and last minute phone calls. Not only do we love our son's doctor but her staff are all so kind, comforting and great with our son. We would recommend them to every parent looking for a reliable doctors office.

I have an 18 month old baby she has seen Dr. Oropeza since she was born. She is so sweet, always takes time to answer my list of questions with patience and doesn’t make me feel rushed. She is always encouraging and praises my efforts and I leave every visit feeling like the best Mom!. I am so fortunate to have found her. Love her office, staff is wonderful as well. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor.

Dr Oropeza is my son's pediatrician. She came in on a holiday when she wasn't scheduled to open the office because he had a high fever and ended up having a double ear infection. We like to recommend to friends having their first child. I rave about her often and can not say enough about how great Dr. Oropeza is! Highly highly recommend her!

I enjoyed the visit and am grateful that the staff made the visit as painless as it was.
