Dr. Maria Minamahal Carandang Patino, MD

She now works for the Orlando VA Medical Center. She told me several times that she was going to order/do things and then FAILED to do what she said. She also told me over the phone to go into VA to be seen for my shoulder and bicep injuries and then refused to see me when I arrived. In my opinion, she should NOT be allowed to practice medicine and her medical license should be revoked permanently. I would not trust her to treat any of my family members.

I was looking for a PCP that won’t just write me a prescription whenever I show up with health issues. I switched to Dr.Patino to give it a shot. I noticed that she engaged with her patient and I find it easy to connect with her on a personal level. I also like how she does her evaluations — she asks detailed questions, she analyze and tries to find the root cause whenever I have health issues or abnormal blood work shows up. Not just prescriptions and stuff like that. She actually cares for her patient. I highly recommend doctor Patino to anyone!

Dr. Patino makes you feel comfortable and shows that she really cares. She is thorough and really takes time to explain to make sure you understand.

I loved Dr. Patino because she takes her time with you as her patient. She listens to what you have to say about how you're feeling. If she doesn't feel she's able to help she refers you to a specialist that can help you.

It is impossible to get past the receptionists at the office. They don't return calls, they don't refill your prescribed medication when needed. I called for a referral for CHH behavioral health to be told they don't give referrals.Dr. Patino cancelled my appointment for follow up on high blood pressure to go on vacation for a month, an appointment that had been set up three months in advance, this is one of the medications that I had a hard time getting them to refill. Worst Dr. office that I have ever been to!!

I trust her. She is thorough and competent. Takes her time to get it right and follows through. Frustrating to wait but its because she is so thorough. I trust my 19 yr old daughters to her.

I went in for my annual physical. Dr Patino didn't like the look of a couple of moles. Anyway it turns out I have melanoma and needed surgery. Thank you Dr. for catching this before it became more advanced then it is.
