Maria Phillis, MD

Dr. Maria Phillis specializes in obstetrics and gynecology with a focus on maternal-fetal medicine. She earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed her residency at UH Cleveland Medical Center in 2021. Dr. Phillis further advanced her expertise through a fellowship at MetroHealth Medical Center, which she completed in 2024. With nine years of experience in women's health, she provides comprehensive care throughout pregnancy and beyond. Dr. Phillis speaks English fluently.

Dr. Phillis practices at multiple locations throughout Cleveland and Beachwood, including UH MacDonald Women's Group, UH Ahuja Risman Pavilion, and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Ahuja Center for Women & Children Midtown. She specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies and conditions such as preeclampsia and gestational high blood pressure. Her expertise includes performing detailed fetal ultrasounds and biophysical profile tests to monitor baby's health and development.
