I kept going, all she did was do an exam while doing nothing to help me. Threw my money and time away seeing her; she spends more time on her makeup than tending to patients.

My L1-S5 nerve was bulged out, saw her 3x, she spent more time on her make up than on me. She did NOTHING to help me except give a good examination with absolutely no conclusion. got absolutely nothing from my visits with her. Finally had surgery and problems solved, she did nothing but increase her income.

I've seen this woman a few times now and our first session was quite painful (due to the nature of the testing) and when she hurt me (sometimes a lot) she would get frustrated with me like my pain was a bother to her. Her subsequent exams were not though at all which concerned me a bit and a lot more so when I saw what she wrote based on those "exams" By the end of our last session I've come to the realization she really has no personal grasp of what severe pain is like or what it means to have to live with it. As a result of this her recommendations aren’t very helpful and a nothing when asked how to deal with extreme pain. She also forgets the details of my case and doesn't refresh her memory before our visits so her reports are quite lacking in areas which can be a real problem if the reader thinks or assumes it's everything. Just my opinion but if you need a doctor for pain issues, she might not be the one you want to see. On the plus side she dresses nice!

Not impressed, makes you wait 45 minutes in the office before she sees you. Will never touch me again!

I am rather new patient of Dr. Maria Pirraglia at SpineNevada. She is my pain specialist and I have been so pleased with the level of her care, she is very clear in the assessment of my back issues, and it is also clear that she cares for her patients. I definitely recommend her to others with spinal pain.

Dr. Pirraglia correctly identified and evaluated my spinal stenosis and peripheral neuropathy, where other doctors had not done so. She referred me for several rounds of physical therapy, adjusting the exercises as my condition changed. She listens better than most doctors. Her staff could be a little more approachable and welcoming e women as well as men.

Dr. Pirraglia was caring, understanding, and very professional. She took an extensive history, and she was well prepared. I was in pain when I made the appointment. However, she explained my condition to me, and she made excellent treatment suggestions.I consider myself fortunate to have found her.

I saw doctor Pirraglia on a doctor-friend's advice and can say that she was very thorough, professional and knowledgeable, with one exception. By my second or third follow-up my pain had spread to a gender specific area, which had me increasingly anxious. She was very uncomfortable just listening to a description of my symptom (I'm male) and didn't try to hide it. Her reaction made clear that this was not something she would discuss. I have no reason to believe this affected the treatment I received and in general would not hesitate to recommend her, but men with similar conditions would be well-advised to find a male doctor.
