Dr. Maria Teresita Rivera, MD

We were seeing Dr. Rivera after moving to the area. Given her listed experience, I'm sure she's a good doctor in her specialty. However.... She was condescending towards all other medical professionals during our conversation,and she even went so far as to re-order all testing that led to original diagnosis last year, plus additional testing. Without using her exact words, she said diagnosis we received is often wrong and she only trusts work she has done herself. I trusted our previous doctor, he was kind and show us results and pictures he used to make the diagnosis. So the fact that she doesn't trust anyone else's work makes me uneasy. I'm not impressed with Dr Rivera and will be seeking a different doctor once we have purchased a house and settled in a specific area. I have no intention of making a long drive for a doctor that is full of herself.
