Dr. Maria Doris Salamatin, MD

Horrible Dr. With horrible bedside manners. I took my 82 yo mother to see her for a broken back. Side note, My mother is hard of hearing and wears hearing aides. I went to a couple of appointments with my mother to see Dr. Salaflippingmenin and she was SO rude! Talked in a foreign language that my mother had a hard time understanding and was very aggressive. My mom cried during the appointment. The Dr didn’t listen to any of my mother’s concerns and spoke over her. We felt rushed during the appointment. Turned out the “Dr” had to catch a flight and needed to leave, rushed us out. I was so heartbroken to see a Dr treat my mother this way. I can’t imagine how she treats her elderly patients that are alone during visits. Side note, we caught both the “Dr” and her staff lying about refilling medications.

I moved from Florida to BHC and I was referred to this doctor. The doctor was very human and down to earth. She has very good bedside manner. She did not seem to be in a rush to meet quota. She explains clearly and breaks down those medical terms. Her staff is awesome. Very caring individuals who'd go out of their way to help. The doctor is extremely knowledgable and I highly recommend her.

The girl at the appointment window has attitude and this Dr. Supports it by doing nothing about it. That may be because the Dr. also has attitude when treating you. She does not listen to your issues and only cares about getting the easy billing via Medicare for annual question answer session and the blood draws. She should close up because she only preys on the elderly because of the Medicare money. I was a patient there for 14 years and only stayed at my wife's urging. I never thought this Doctor knew much about anything and looking at her training I think that explains it. In a larger city environment she could not survive where quality care is more available. Don't waste our valuable Medicare money on her poor showing.

Dr. Maria Salamatin is a great doctor. She is caring and very professional. Her staff is amazing too. I will definitely recommend her to everyone.

I have recommended her to several friends. I like her more than any other doctor I have seen in the last 60 years.

I was a patient of Dr. Salamatin's for four years. Almost everytime I went in for a visit, she incorrectly diagnosed the problem. I lost it when my husband and I asked her if I had a specific illness, and she said it was impossible.(and that we were pretty much crazy). Well, we didn't think that was right, so we saw a specialist, and guess what, my husband and I were right.
