Dr. Marie Therese Sohner

HORRIBLE POLICIES & I FELT THEY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME, AS A CHRISTIAN! After me telling them that I used Medishare, a Christian healthcare sharing ministry, NOT INSURANCE, AS STATED ON MEDISHARE'S WEBSITE, they told me I WAS NOT WELCOME FOR AN APPOINTMENT, not even as a CASH payer. Being a patient for 10 years or more, this is how they treat you. DO NOT USE DR. MARIE SOHNER'S office. They did not offer to look into my healthcare sharing program. She told me since I told her I had insurance (which isn't insurance, I repetitively told her it wasn't)and they did not take it, I COULD NOT EVEN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. A-OK, I will gladly take my business elsewhere, if this is how they feel!

I came into the ER suffering from what I found out to be an ectopic pregnancy. They called some random doctor (Dr. Sohner) she gave me the option of the methotrexate shot or surgery. I, not being a doctor, opted for the methotrexate shot, not knowing that with my HCG levels being as high as they were I should have had surgery. Instead...around a month later the ectopic pregnancy was not fully resolved by then and my fallopian tube ruptured and I almost died. She gave horrible advice and in turn, I almost died. On top of that - she billed extra ($2000) just for giving me bad direction as a physician and a shot of methotrexate that she didn't even administer. To top it off - I set up a payment plan online and a few months later my bill was sent to collections anyways. The reason? I did not set up a payment plan ON THE PHONE. They can still send to collections if you've set up your payment plan online, so watch out. Horrible billing staff, horrible doctors. The nurses were wonderful.… Doctor Sohner is a terrible doctor. Her bedside manner was even worse. She did not care that I was losing my baby and even possibly my life. She had me make a medical decision and did not explain anything about the situation.

Dr. Sohner has been my OBGYN for many years. When it was time for a hysterectomy (due to the side effects of Tamoxifen for breast cancer) she led me through the process impecably. She is extremely knowledgeable, meticulously skilled, and compassionate to the needs of those in her care.

She is rude doesn't allow ultra sounds when you want them makes your first child experience non enjoyable emotionless Snake

She's great IF YOU GET HER. If you get the nurse pract. then it's not the same! Expect no follow up and and overall sense of not caring. I've never had this many problems with a doctors office. Since the other doctors left this practice things are not the same. I would look elsewhere.

Dr. Sohner has performed two surgeries on me. I cannot tell you I had pain. Her bedside mannor is so calming. Her hands are a true gift God.
